ON AUGUST 24TH, THE EL PASO COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, ON BEHALF OF THE EL PASO COUNTY DISTRICT, D/B/A UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER, ADOPTED AN ORDER ADOPTING TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS (M&O) THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE.
THE (M&O) TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.7% AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $3.62.
